This Batavia type variety produces very voluminous heart, without head, of 500 gr. in average. In very good conditions, the heart can reach around 1 kg. Very early with the harvest 30 days after transplanting, VERDANA shows a good resistance to heat (very slow bolting). Consumers will appreciate its smooth and sweet taste.
