Very popular and famous winter squash with its typical pear-shaped fruit 20 cm long and averaging 1,5 kg. Its orange and very flavoured flesh (nice aftertaste of butter) is excellent for cooking (baked and braised). Good storage ability throughout the winter. Sowing 4 seeds per pot under shelter (15-20°C) then, after germination, keep only 1 plantlet per pot. Planting one meter apart. Harvest 4 to 5 fruits per plant 100 to 110 days after sowing.
