High yielding open field variety. The vigorous plant produces an abundant supply of oval small fruits (average weight 80 gr), purple in colour. Tolerant to CMV. Suited for indian vegetable fritters (Pakoras) or for the Turkish stuffed eggplant (Karniyarik). Sowing in seedling tray (19/20°C) then transplanting when plantlets get 3 leaves in pots or blocks. Nursery length: 4 weekss. Planting (5/6 leaves stage) in rows 80 cm apart and seedlings 60 cm apart in sunny area. Harvest starting 2 months after planting.
